Why Small Group Journeys
Small Group Size
One of the most popular features of our tours is the small group size. We limit groups to a maximum of 16 people (and only 12 in Japan) so you can enjoy a more personalised, more authentic Asia experience. Our small groups ensure more time with your Local Expert, more time to make new friends, less time waiting, and more time for you to enjoy the amazing destinations throughout your journey. We don’t do ‘bus tours’…we do Small Group Journeys.
Bespoke Accomodation
A quality hotel is an essential element of an enjoyable holiday. Our hand-picked selections were chosen specifically for their location, charm and culture to ensure your journey is comfortable.
Local Experts
Your local guides are one of the most important elements of your trip. They are the person you see the most and who answers your questions, who helps to shape your impression of a destination. In recognition of this important relationship, our guides are truly experts who are trained to look out for you, to share the knowledge that only a local can provide. Many of our guides have worked with us for years, and feel like a part of our family.
Off The Beaten Path
An unforgettable experience starts with the unexpected. We’ll make sure you see the most popular highlights of our destinations… but then we’ll show you the places you wouldn’t find on your own. From conversations with local families, feasting in street food stalls, and shopping in hidden local markets, we’ll make sure you go home with memories of an amazing connection to Asia.
Getting Around
We don’t do ‘bus tours’. we do Small Groups. Whether it’s a tuk-tuk, jeep safari, or bullet train, you’ll get a local experience when it provides the best sightseeing or transport opportunity. Otherwise, road journeys are in ourcomfortable air-conditioned vehicles.
Independence and Flexibility
An ideal tour is a balance of activity and relaxation. We know sometimes you want to explore on your own, eat on your own, or relax on your own. We can include moments of leisure without any scheduled activities, where you have the freedom to be spontaneous, to choose your own meals, to choose your own experiences, and to enjoy your holiday as you see fit.
Tipping Included
We’ve taken care of everything, including tips. Tipping is customary in Asia, but tipping customs vary from country to country. We’ve included tips in the price of your tour so you can relax and enjoy without worrying about how much to tip at the end.
