  • Day 1: Arrival in Medan – Journey to Bukit Lawang

    Begin your adventure as you arrive at Kualanamu International Airport, where you'll be greeted and transferred to the lush rainforest haven of Bukit Lawang. The scenic drive takes you through a tapestry of rubber and oil-palm plantations, setting the tone for the serene landscapes that await. Upon reaching Bukit Lawang, check into your charming accommodation at Bukit Lawang Cottage, surrounded by nature's tranquility.

  • Day 2: Bukit Lawang – Jungle Trekking Adventure

    Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and prepare for an exhilarating trek into the heart of Leuser National Park. After breakfast, embark on a guided hike through dense rainforest, teeming with vibrant flora and fauna. As you walk beneath towering trees, keep your eyes peeled for the elusive orangutans, who swing effortlessly from branch to branch. Along the way, you may also encounter other fascinating wildlife such as Thomas Leaf monkeys, playful Macaques, Gibbon and Black Gibbons. The three-hour trek immerses you in the unspoiled beauty of this UNESCO-recognized ecosystem. Afterward, return to your hotel to relax, or take some time to explore the nearby village at your leisure.

  • Day 3: Bukit Lawang – Scenic Drive to Brastagi

    Today, journey to the cool highlands of Brastagi, a region known for its stunning volcanic landscapes and refreshing mountain air. The road winds through verdant hills, offering awe-inspiring views of the active Sinabung Volcano as it dominates the horizon. Upon arrival in Brastagi, visit Lhumbini Park, home to an impressive replica of Myanmar's Shwedagon Pagoda. Explore the bustling fruit market, where vibrant tropical produce bursts with color, and take in panoramic views of the region from Gundaling Hill.

  • Day 4: Brastagi – Samosir Island

    After breakfast, depart for the iconic Samosir Island, nestled in the middle of the vast Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. En route, visit the traditional Batak Karo village of Dokan, where the unique culture and customs of this indigenous community are preserved in their daily lives. Continue your journey to the spectacular Sipisopiso Waterfall, where the 90-meter-high cascade tumbles into the lake below, offering breathtaking views of Lake Toba from its northern edge. The drive also takes you to Tele, a lookout point providing sweeping vistas over the lake’s western shores, before arriving at Efrata Waterfall, a tranquil and scenic stop. Finally, visit the village of Lumban Suhi-suhi, where the women of the village continue the centuries-old craft of weaving traditional Tobanese textiles. By mid-afternoon, you’ll arrive at your accommodation on Samosir Island.

    Today, explore the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Samosir Island. Next, visit Aek Natonang, a serene lake located at the island’s highest point, offering picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. In Tomok Village, discover the fascinating history of the Sidabutar Kings as you explore the ancient stone sarcophagi and learn about the island’s spiritual traditions. After a day filled with culture and history, enjoy some free time at your hotel before gathering for a special farewell dinner, celebrating the end of your journey in North Sumatra.

  • Day 6: Farewell to Samosir Island – Departure
