DAY 1

Arrival -Welcome to Delhi

Arrive at Delhi. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our local guide and transferred to the Hotel.

DAY 2

Delhi

After breakfast, proceed for a tour of Delhi including Jama Masjid – This great mosque of Old Delhi and the largest in India. Enjoy a Rickshaw ride (Paddy cab) around Jama Masjid & in the Narrow streets of Old Delhi. Explore the Red Fort Shah Jahan’s elegant citadel in red sandstone and Raj Ghat before driving past the Govt. Buildings and taking a photo opportunity at the India Gate. Visit Hauz khas complex & Safdarjung Tomb (Jobs movie was shot in these places) and Humayun Tomb In the evening enjoy a Live Bollywood show in the Kingdom of Dreams and a visit to the famous “Cultural Gully”. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3

Delhi to Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra. The city of the inimitable “Taj Mahal”. On arrival in Agra, transfer to hotel. Later enjoy visit of Agra including Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal (Slumdog Millionaire, The namesake and Million Dollar Arm recent movies) (It remains closed on Fridays). Enjoy Mohabbat the Taj Show in Agra: A beautiful show based on the passionate romance between Shah Jahan and his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. While enjoying the brilliant depiction of golden Mughal era, you will also feel like being transported to the old Agra centuries ago. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4

Agra to Jaipur

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, on the way visit of Fatehpur Sikri (Mughal-e-Azam). After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue drive to Jaipur. On the way visit the Chand Baori (Step well) (In the Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne is stuck at the bottom of a pit some scene were shot in the Chand Baori). Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City, thanks to the colour of its buildings. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to hotel.

DAY 5

Jaipur

After breakfast, explore Jaipur. Begin with a Photo stop at Hawa Mahal Palace before stopping at Amber Fort with Elephant / Jeep Ride to the Fort (Jodha Akbar and Bajirao Mastani movie) – The Amber Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar and enjoy a Saree & Turban Tying Session. In the evening enjoy a Bollywood Movie in an Indian theatre (Raj Mandir) enjoy the audiences clapping and whistling from the balcony. This is ideal for unwinding after a long day touring the forts and palaces. Said to be the best cinema in India. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6

Jaipur via Pushkar to Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, on the way visit Pushkar (known for the Holy Smoke movie) for a wander before travelling on to Pushkar city – Pushkar is a wonderful tourist destination to explore and enjoy the rustic charm of Rajasthan. This place is also known for its Brahma Temple. Continue to drive to Jodhpur (The Darjeeling Limited was shot in Jodhpur) Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur, and is encircled by a high 10 km long wall and known as ‘The Blue City’. On arrival in Jodhpur, transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7

Jodhpur

After breakfast we drive to Mehrangarh Fort (scenes from the Dark knight Rises) – It is about 5km from Jodhpur Town. It overlooks the rugged and rocky terrain and houses a palace intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows exquisitely wrought from red sandstone. Located adjacent to Mehrangarh Fort is Jaswant Thada, the graceful marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. A visit to this structure is through the rocky hills giving it a secluded and a mystic aura. Evening is at leisure to enjoy your stay in the hotel. This afternoon you may want to add an optional Desert Camp Camel Ride to your trip to experience life in Ossian (The Darjeeling Limited was shot in Ossian) – Enjoy a Camel ride to the desert Camp with champagne Sundowners, a traditional dance performance and Dinner. Later drive back to the hotel.

DAY 8

Jodhpur via Ranakpur to Udaipur

After breakfast drive to Udaipur, on the way visit the beautifully sculptured Jain temples in Ranakpur before arriving at Udaipur, The “City of Lakes”. Founded in 1559 AD as capital town of the former Mewar state by Maharana Udai Singh on the eastern banks of the Lake Pichola. The rich cultural, social and natural heritage, aesthetic beauty and ecological richness, so far preserved through the surrounding lakes, serene and opulent hilly range of the Aravalis and lush green vegetation and pleasant gardens and harmonious built forms present a unique condition of scenic beauty. On arrival in Udaipur, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 9

Udaipur

After breakfast continue exploring Udaipur with a visit to City Palace (where James Bond Octopussy movie was filmed) Later enjoy Lunch at Shiv Niwas Palace. Hotel Shiv Niwas Palace is shown up as the hotel, where James Bond lives when he comes India to investigate the activities of Octopussy and Kamal Khan. Many scenes of the movie are shot in restaurant, rooms and bar. After Lunch enjoy a boat ride on the Pichola Lake. During this boat trip, we will take you to Jag Mandir Island visiting ‘Taj Lake Palace’ from outside. The boat scenes in the movie were filmed on Lake Pichola. ‘Taj Lake Palace’ is shown up as Octopussy’s palace, which is surrounded by the Lake Pichola from all sides. In the evening, enjoy a private screening of the movie ‘James Bond Octopussy’ at the hotel, so that you can relive the scenes of the movie and feel the experience of being at those places. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10

Udaipur

After breakfast visit The Monsoon Palace a hilltop palatial residence in the Udaipur city. It is the palace, where Gobinda (Bodyguard of Kamal Khan) locks up Bond after capturing him with the help of Magda (Khan’s Associate), who seduces the Bond at Hotel Shiv Niwas Palace and steals the real Fabergé egg (into which Bond has slipped a microphone). Later return back to hotel for Lunch. After lunch, visit Sahelion Ki Bari and Jagdish Temple and then enjoy a walk through the Old City, where we will take you to some restaurants which still play the famous James Bond movie ‘Octopussy”. We will also arrange a short Tuk -Tuk ride (Auto Rickshaw) through the lanes of the Old city. In the movie, there is a scene, where Gobinda (Khan’s Body Guard) follows James Bond to kill him racing through the streets in a Tuk-Tuk. To give you a similar riding experience, we will take you through the lanes by a Tuk-Tuk. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 11

Udaipur to Mumbai

After breakfast, transfer to airport to board your flight for Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai, transfer to the hotel.

DAY 12

Mumbai

After breakfast we begin exploring Mumbai first with a Photo stop at the Gateway of India. Later enjoy an interesting short walk from the Gateway of India to Shivaji Marg towards Regal Circle. Dodge the traffic to reach the car park in the middle of the circle for the best view of the surrounding buildings. Later visit the Prince of Wales Museum, The Mani Bhawan and Flora fountain (Hutatma Chowk). Drive past, the Victoria terminus (Chhatrapati shivaji terminus), Municipal Corporation building, University of Mumbai before stopping at the hanging Garden. Take an evening drive through Marine drive one of Mumbai’s most popular romantic spots with amazing sunset views. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13

Mumbai

After breakfast, visit Dharavi and see why it is the heart of small-scale industry in Mumbai. Through our educational walking tours, visitors experience a wide range of business activities. We’ll also visit the residential areas of Dharavi. This diversity is apparent in the temples, mosques, churches and pagodas that stand side by side. Our 2.5-hour introduction to Dharavi aims to give visitors a much more nuanced understanding of life and work in Mumbai slums. In the afternoon enjoy a half day Bollywood tour. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 14

Mumbai Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
