Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1: Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales

The tour starts at the airport of Punta Arenas, Chile´s southernmost city. Pick up your rental car here and drive to the nearby town of Puerto Natales where you spend the night. On the way, take in views of the Magellan Strait, considered the most important natural passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

  • Day 2: Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine

Drive north through Patagonian pampa until reaching the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park. On the way, you are likely to observe guanacos, the camel´s Patagonian relatives. The striking towers, the Torres del Paine, are visible already from a distance. Tonight, you stay on a traditional sheep farm at the edge of the national park.

  • Day 3: Torres del Paine

The day is at your disposal for the exploration of Torres del Paine National Park, without a doubt a highlight of your visit. Where the vastness of the Patagonian steppe and the steep peaks of the Southern Cordillera meet, nature shows its most breathtaking side. 2000-meter-high peaks rise out of the vast steppe abruptly; huge glaciers, deep blue lakes and wind-blown, gnarled southern beeches determine the picture. Thundering rivers flow into the valley as waterfalls. This primeval wilderness is a unique refuge for rare animals such as guanacos, Andean foxes, flamingos and condors, the kings of the skies.

  • Day 4: Torres del Paine to Punta Arenas

Drive back south, passing Puerto Natales, until you reach again Punta Arenas Airport.
