Boheme Mekong Kingdoms

Day 1: Luang Prabang
After exploring the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, you will be chauffeured from Avani+ Luang Prabang to the vessel. Our first stop is Ban Xang Khong, known for its traditional saa paper. Enjoy a hands-on experience making the paper from tree bark, fresh flowers and leaves, followed by the tasting of tea from Phongsaly, a northern Laos village. Next, transfer in a longtail boat to the Nam Ou cliffs for breathtaking sightseeing before continuing to the legendary Pak Ou caves.
Day 2: The Lower Mekong
We drift downstream past lush jungle and charming villages, arriving at Ban Chan, renowned for its pottery. After a warm welcome from the locals, learn all about traditional pottery techniques before trying your hand at creation. In the evening, we moor at tranquil Ban Muang Khay.
Day 3: Kuang Si Waterfalls
In the morning, we explore the stunning Kuang Si waterfalls, travelling by minivan. Lunch is then served surrounded by nature by the Kuang Si waterfalls, Laos Tad Keo falls. The cruise continues, mooring for the night at Ban Thadeua.
Day 4: Xayaboury Elephant Conservation Centre
Known as ‘The Land of a Million Elephants’, Laos takes pride in its majestic creatures, and today, we visit the Xayaboury Elephant Conservation Centre, a genuine sanctuary dedicated to their preservation. We then cruise through a passage in the Xayaboury Dam, getting an inside look at the workings of this unique landmark as we navigate through its locks.
Day 5: Pak Lay
We sail further, then take a scenic walk through Ban Niam and Pha Liep Village before continuing to Pak Lay. Delight in a captivating cocktail hour as you take in the breathtaking sights of Ban Pha Liep, a charming village nestled alongside majestic limestone cliffs. On your final evening aboard, enjoy a captivating traditional Lao dance performance.
Day 6: Vientiane
Disembark at 8:30 am in Pak Lay with a comfortable transfer by coach to the rich historic town of Vientiane.
