5-Days Cruise from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap | Heritage Line

Day 1: Phnom Penh As the sun rises, you will receive a warm welcome on board and embark on a full-day exploration of the captivating city of Phnom Penh, visiting historic sites such as the Killing Fields and the S21 prison, followed by an engaging evening lecture and a memorable open-air gala along the Tonle River.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Kampong Tralach – Kampong Chhnang (Tonle) The day begins with a serene cruise towards Kampong Tralach on the Tonle River, where we witness traditional ox carts and visit the “Green School,” providing underprivileged children with education, followed by an afternoon cruise to Kampong Chhnang’s unique “water world” and a visit to a local village known for its pottery and palm sugar production.

Day 3: Tonle River – Koh Oknha Tey – Kampong Cham (Mekong) Our journey continues as we sail to Koh Oknha Tey, an island renowned for its high-quality silk products, followed by a monks’ blessing ceremony and a visit to the charming Angkor Ban village, where time seems to stand still, and the evening is adorned with a riverbank gathering.

Day 4: Kampong Cham (Mekong) After a delightful breakfast, we explore the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey, observing the daily lives of young monks, followed by a visit to the striking Wat Nokor monastery and the famous Koh Paen Bamboo Bridge, ending the day with a visit to a local school where we enjoy the talents of young Cambodian performers.

Day 5: Kampong Cham (Mekong) – Siem Reap Our memorable journey concludes with a hearty breakfast and a bus transfer to Siem Reap, a town enriched with history and a significant trade hub, where we leave with cherished memories and stories to share about our remarkable adventure along the Mighty Mekong.
